My story

Hi, I’m Nina.

I’d wanted to build something that helps women for a long time. What finally made me do it was leaving the corporate world — where in many of its cultures, burnout is normal, overworking gets praised and rest is treated like a weakness.

I watched my coworkers, and myself, run on empty for far too long. So I left to help people like us: hardworking people who are tired of being tired, and tired of being told that’s just how it is.

The realization of a need for a different approach in combination with my longtime passion for health and wellness, led to the birth of Hart Health Consulting.

“Rest is just as important as the work we do to improve ourselves.”

For years I tried to over-optimize everything. It finally clicked when I accepted that rest is JUST as important as the work we do to improve ourselves. That was my epiphany: healing starts in the nervous system. The mind–body connection is unbelievably powerful, and when you feel safe in your own body, you feel better both physically and mentally.

My own path to healing

I’ve navigated my own health struggles my whole life. Western medicine saved my life, and I’m grateful for it, but it also came with costs that caused other health issues along the way. I addressed and healed those through a multitude of ways including functional and holistic medicine — plus therapy, exercise, eating well and a whole lot of self-love.

Growing up, my family was always health-conscious, and my mom’s Russian remedies, passed down through generations, taught me early that so much of our healing comes from nature and from learning to listen to your body. I was also lucky enough to grow up with a dad who ingrained in me the importance of exercise and athletics, which led to my passion for training.

This is for you if…

You’re hardworking, you know yourself and your body, and you’re overwhelmed by the oversaturation of information. You don’t know where to begin, you’re tired of overthinking, and you just want real, actionable answers. Maybe you’re nearing your wits’ end, and you don’t want to do this alone.

Women like us are often passed over or written off as dramatic or complaining. We aren’t. We’re tough, and we deserve someone who gets it.

You’re not alone. Self-punishment was never the answer — let’s build a life with more joy and less guilt.

WHAT WORKED FOR ME

Love, not punishment.

What finally made changes stick was coming to them with a positive attitude. Trying to punish myself into new habits never worked. What always worked was coming at it out of pure love — wanting to feel better so I could do better, be better, and enjoy life more.

I started healing my nervous system through movement and therapy, and over time all of it together gave me something I didn't expect: real self-confidence, higher self-esteem, and a clear sense of my purpose. When you feel safe in your own body, you feel better both physically and mentally.

Coaching works alongside — never in place of — care from your doctors and therapists.

Our approach

Self-love — the real kind.

Nervous system first

A dysregulated nervous system makes everything harder. We help you feel safe in your body, so healing has room to happen.

Root causes, not quick fixes

We look at you as a whole person — sleep, stress, food, movement, environment — and work out what’s really driving how you feel.

Not the kind that’s an excuse to stop caring. The kind that makes you want to take care of yourself — so you show up better for your body, your relationships, your work and your life. Every change we make starts from there.

Joy is the method

No shame, no punishment, no all-or-nothing. Small behavioral shifts you actually enjoy are the ones that last.
